Al Cantrell Resident Manager, Interstate Paper LLC
|
Al Cantrell, Resident Manager at Interstate Paper in Riceboro, GA, joined Interstate Resources, Inc. in 1992. Since that time, he has steadily moved up within the organization. Prior to joining Interstate Resources, Al held various positions at Union Camp and International Paper.
Actively involved in the community, Al serves as the JV Baseball Coach and Middle School Baseball Coach for St. Andrews School, a private institution located in Savannah. Additionally, he is the baseball and football coach for the Talahi Tigers.
Al holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of South Carolina and a Professional Engineer License from the State of Georgia. |

John Falk General Manager, Interstate Container Lowell LLC General Manager, Interstate Container Westminster LLC

John Falk joined Interstate Container New England in March of 2008. He currently is the General Manager of ICNE, which groups Interstate Container Lowell, Interstate Container Westminster, and a warehouse facility in Meridan, CT.
John has 30 years of experience in the brown fiber packaging business, managing corrugated box, multi-wall bag, and specialty products operations.
John began his packaging career in 1979 as a Controller / Treasurer at Bancroft Bag, Inc., a privately-held company with multi-wall bag and specialty products. He was promoted to General Manager in 1981 and held various general management positions with responsibility for multi-plant facilities with several companies.

In 1988, John joined MacMillan Bloedel to start a new bulk packaging business called “SpaceKraft” in Atlanta, GA. MacMillan was acquired by Weyerhaeuser in 1999. With that acquisition, John moved to the west coast, where he held various general and sales management positions and corrugated packaging operations until joining Interstate Resources in 2008.
John received his Bachelors of Arts and Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. Additionally, he is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Pete Bugas General Manager, Interstate Container Cambridge LLC

Pete Bugas has been in the corrugated packagin business for 23 years. For 22 of those years, he has focused on packaging for poultry, produce, and seafood products. Pete joined Interstate Resources in 1997.
Pete's experience with the rigorous requirements of poultry packaging helped lead the way for Interstate Container Cambridge's research and development efforts to find a sustainable wax alternative product for customers. He pushed the development of this wax alternative package during times when it was not the "green" movement that exists today.

He served on the Sustainability Committe of the Fiber Box Assocation FBA, and is very active in his community. Pete is Vice President of Little League and has coached basketball and baseball.
Pete holds a Bachelors of Science in Marketing from West Virginia University.

Curtis Perkins General Manager, Interstate Container Readding LLC

Curtis Perkins joined Interstate Container Reading in Pennsylvania as General Manager in 2010. He has worked in the corrugating industry for twenty nine years in various positions of increasing responsibility. His career started at Boise Cascade, and he has also worked at PCA, as well as holding an equity position in Englander Container and Display.
Curtis attended California State University Dominguez Hills and also served in the US Marine Corps Reserves.

Doug McKee General Manager, Southcorr Packaging LLC

Doug McKee was named General Manager of Southcorr Packaging in Asheboro, NC in 2008, when Interstate Resources acquired interest in the property. Prior to that, Doug has been Plant Manager at SouthCorr Packaging since 1997.
Doug graduated from the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Tom Norris Vice President, Timber Division General Manager, Newport Timber LLC General Manager, RB Lumber LLC

Tom Norris has been Vice President and General Manager of Newport Timber for the past 16 years and RB Lumber for the past 3 years.
Prior to joining Interstate Resources, Tom was employed by Continental Forest Industries, Stone Container, and Union Camp Corporation. During his career, Tom has held a variety of executive positions both in land management and wood procurement.
Tom is Vice Chairman of the Forest Resource Association, serving on both the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors. He is a member of the Georgia Forestry Association and serves on its Board of Directors. He is a member of The University of Georgia Warnell School of Forest Resources Dean Advisory Board. Tom also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Wood Supply Research Institute.

Tom is a 1971 graduate of the Warnell School of Forest Resources with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resources and a graduate of University of Virginia Darden School of Business Executive Program in 1982.

Scott Sallah Vice President, Packaging Services Inc. of Tennessee

Scott Sallah has been a partner at Packaging Services Inc. of Tennessee in Greeneville since 1995. When Interstate Resources, Inc. acquired this property in 2008, Scott was named Vice President.
Scott is active in his community, serving as the Vice President of the Greeneville Soccer Association. He also serves as Treasurer of the Asbury Child Enrichment Center.
Scott holds a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy (USMA) in West Point, New York.

Geoffrey Schiffenhaus joined Interstate Resources, Inc. in September 2008, after serving two years as General Manager of Southern Container, a leading regional manufacturer of corrugated products, in Newark, NJ.
Previous to that, Geoff spent 26 years at Schiffenhaus Industries, a nationally recognized manufacturer of corrugated POP and graphic packaging. Schiffenhaus Industries was an early pioneer and leading manufacturer of preprinted linerboard. Throughout his career, Geoff has held various leadership roles in all areas of sales and manufacturing.
Geoff holds a Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Data Systems Management from Johnson and Wales University.

Dave Stauffer (UCI) Vice President, Paper Division General Manager, United Corrstack LLC
|
Dave Stauffer is the Vice President of the Reading Mill Complex and has been the General Manager of United Corrstack since 1998.
Prior to joining Interstate Resources, Inc. Dave held various positions at Scott Paper from 1971 to 1996. From 1996 to 1998, Dave was Product System Leader at Kimberly Clark.
Dave received the 2009 ‘Manufacturer of the Year’ Award from Ben Franklin Technology Partners.
He graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
